Identity Theft? Someone is signing me up for stuff online.? | Fraud ...

My fiance has been receiving countless cellphone calls in the last two weeks from telemarketers saying he requested information or signed up for something. But he hasn?t done either. The University of Phoenix called saying he requested information even though he?s a semester away from graduating the college he?s really happy with. Baby.com called asking for him by name or for ?the mother-to-be?. I am most definitely not prego! All the callers are from online; they all ask for him by name and say ?you signed up? for it, so we know someone has been giving out his number. We suspect an old friend from high school who is infamous for his prank phone calls. We know its him. My question is this: What kind of legal action can we take against him? Obviously we can change our number but I?m looking for something more. He?s pretending to be my fiance and using my fiance?s identity to sign up for things. Doesn?t that seem like identity theft? How can we prove its him and get him to stop? Thanks!
